Antonino Cusumano

He received a PhD in Entomology in 2010 and subsequently has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Wageningen University (Netherlands) and university of Montpellier (France). He has also worked as guest researcher at Texas A&M University (USA). He has received funding from several national and international funding agencies, including a prestigious Marie Curie individual fellowship in 2016. His interest is focused on herbivore-plant-microbe interactions, insect ecology and biological pest control. He has published 43 papers in leading journals in the field including PNAS, Ecology letters and Annual review of entomology. He has an h-index of 15 and >550 citations on topics related to entomology, biological control and plant science. He has coordinated or participated in projects granted by national and international founding agencies, as well as projects funded by biological control industries.
